PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. establish cooperation with the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding access to utilization of the Population Registration Number, population data on electronic KTP.
Bank Muamalat Chief Executive Officer Achmad K. Permana said the collaboration was an effort to improve service to consumers. Because the bank will more quickly and easily access customer data accurately and comprehensively.
“In addition to accelerating services for customers, through this collaboration banks can mitigate risk, especially avoiding data forgery and fictitious accounts,” Permana said in an official statement received by Bisnis.com on Friday (12/28/2018).
There are 3 types of utilization of population data that can be accessed by user institutions First, aggregate data which includes individual data sets in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. Second, matching, matching or matching data. And the Third is, access to population data by name, address and NIK.
The signing of the cooperation was carried out by Permana and Gunawan, Director of Facilitation of Utilization of Population Data and Documents of the Directorate General of Civil and Civil Registration at the Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Friday (12/28/2018).
In addition to Bank Muamalat, there are 7 other financial institutions that also signed cooperation with the Ministry of Home Affairs Dukcapil.
